Açaí Bowls
These have been on repeat the last couple of weeks since visiting my hubby in Bahrain (where it’s still a whopping 105 F — YIKES!)
The original one I had was a base of banana, pitaya, and peanut butter. It was HEAVENLY! However, my favorite grocery was sold out of frozen pitaya, so I opted for an OG ACAI BOWL! After seeing them sold for anywhere from $10-15 a bowl, I had to give it a try at home!
Ingredients:
Acai pack - I used the Sambazon
1 cup frozen banana or 1 cup frozen mango
2/3 cup almond milk (you can absolutely use milk or any other milk alternative!)
1 scoop protein powder of your choice
Toppings of choice: ENDLESS!!! I chose pepitas, berries, granola, and bananas
